UK residents crave more space and more time

In a recent study by the Government’s property watchdog, CABE, it was revealed we are living in ‘rabbit hutch Britain’, with new homes offering the smallest rooms in Europe. Our latest survey has found Brits are yearning for extra space in their homes, with a third dreaming of an extra bedroom. A home office and games room ranked highly in the survey as dream additions to the home, along with a playroom and home gym.

Supporting The Salvation Army

Our Manchester Worsley store is supporting Farnworth Salvation Army by donating much needed space at its storage facilities after The Salvation Army hall on King Street was sold and demolished. The charity had been left with no storage and its equipment was rapidly stored in houses, schoolrooms, church buildings and garden sheds – leaving it unsecured and at risk of damage.
