You will find that our self storage rooms are available in a wide range of sizes, with high ceilings allowing items to be stacked for greater storage capacity. The most popular sizes for household storage are 25, 50 and 100 square feet. You can always move to a larger or smaller room whenever you want if you need to move goods in and out of your storage space. So you only pay for the space you need. We also have drive-up units located on the outside of the building, which can be accessed directly from a car or truck and are often well suited to business storage.

Moving in couldn't be easier.

You can find what you need for an easy move in at Ready Steady Store. You will find packaging materials, van hire and FREE moving equipment with us to make your move as painless as possible.

We provide a wide range of packing materials to protect your things, including moving boxes, wardrobe boxes, bubblewrap, tape, tissue paper and more. For extra ease, we have standard storage packs that fit most requirements.

You can hire one of our vans for a day or just half a day to complete your move, and when you have your things at Ready Steady Store you can take advantage of our FREE trolleys and forklifts to load your room up easily

Your room is secure, private and confidential.

You will find it is protected by an individual alarm and your own padlock. Only you have the key. A unique pin number gives you unlimited access to the storage facility at times which suit you. All our stores are monitored by CCTV cameras 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For extra peace of mind, we offer insurance coverage for your stored items.

All goods must be insured whilst in storage with us.

We will be happy to add you to our own insurance policy for a small additional fee, with prices starting from as little as £3 per £1,000.

Alternatively, you can choose to have your goods insured by a third party; however you will need to bring your valid policy with you when booking your items into storage.

You can rent our rooms for as little as one week, or stay for as long as you want. In addition you can move into a smaller or larger unit whenever you wish, should your needs change, so you will only ever pay for the space you need.

You can vacate your storage room at 10 days notice.

You need to bring:

• ID, e.g. passport or driving licence.
• Proof of address, e.g. bank statement or utility bill.
• Insurance cover for your goods. If not available, we provide insurance.
• If you wish to pay by direct debit please bring your bank details.

The best way to pay is by direct debit as you won't need to pay a deposit. Unless you pay by direct debit, you will need to pay a security deposit equivalent to one month's rent.

There are only a few things you can't store with us:

• Hazardous materials - flammable liquids and explosives
• Unauthorised or illegal goods
• Firearms and ammunition
• Drugs
• Living things - animals, humans and plants
• Items that could decompose - exposed food stuffs
