Accessing our storage units remotely to avoid spreading the virus.

At Ready Steady Store we believe it is our responsibility to do everything we can to ensure that we provide access to secure self-storage whilst doing all we can to keep our customers and staff safe and healthy.

Each of our stores has a reception office, staffed by our friendly teams.  However we know that during these times some people may prefer to avoid contact with people.

Our current storage customers, in the majority* of our stores can of course access their goods as usual, using their unique PIN code access, without needing to interact with anyone at all. 

If you are looking for self storage, and worried about contact with people, we have a very easy to use remote move in process, that will allow you to move into one of our storage units without needing to have any face to face contact.

It’s easy

  • Simply, speak to one of our customer service team on 0800 321 3211 and reserve a unit.
  • You are then able to do an online check in, this enables you to set up your storage account, and to complete the required identity checks.**
  • The store team will then contact you and agree a time that is convenient for you to come to store to move in.  At the agreed time, they will ensure that you have remote access to the facility and that your storage unit is open, with your padlock and any boxes or packing materials you’ve requested are there for you.
