We don’t hand out physical keys. All our customers access their self storage unit via the app, which provides stress-free, seamless entry and exit.
Our app-controlled access system was built with safety in mind. You don’t have to worry about losing your key, and we can keep track of everyone who enters and exits our facilities. It ensures that the only people inside our facilities are authorised personnel.
Security Systems
All our sites have around-the-clock CCTV. So, whether you’re a student storing a flat’s worth of stuff at Manchester Central or a homeowner using our Worsley store as a stopgap while renovating, there will always be eyes on your valuables.

Yes. We won’t rent a storage unit to anyone without Contents Protection in place.

What’s app-controlled entry?
App-controlled entry means that you can only access your chosen Ready Steady Store facility through the app. There’s no pin code or physical key instead, your app is your key.
