This month sees us celebrate our tenth anniversary. We opened our first store in November 2006 in Leeds on Roseville Road, with the aim of making life easy for our customers by providing a high level of service at no extra cost.
In ten years we have achieved a great deal, opening nine stores – five in the north of England: Leeds Kirskstall Road, Doncaster, Manchester Central and Worsley – and the remaining four in the south: Wokingham, Eastleigh, Bournemouth and Heathrow. We’re very excited to be opening our tenth storage facility in Shoreham-by-Sea in January 2017.
We’ve had over 27,000 customers store with us at Ready Steady Store over the last ten years. Whilst most customers turn to us because of a house move, self storage is also a great solution for people needing to store furniture and other items while they redecorate, tradesmen requiring space to store their tools and equipment, businesses requiring space for stock or those simply needing extra room to store their stuff. We’ve even had someone use a unit to store his clothes and do his ironing!
We’re immensely proud to be a part of the community in the locations we serve and want to extend a big thank you to our customers for choosing to store with us.We also want to thank our fantastic team who have been instrumental in helping to manage our growth and provide a consistent service to our customers.
We look forward to our next ten years being just as exciting as the last, as we continue to build on our success.
