It’s been a fantastic couple of years for our storage gurus, and 2022 is definitely ending on a high. With another FEDESSA nomination under our belt and a Feefo win in the bag, we’re excited to see what next year brings. Our team have over 50 years of collective experience and to be recognised by these official bodies is a testament to our storage knowledge. Here’s a look at some of our most recent achievements and what they actually mean for our staff and our customers too.
Trusted Service Awards – Feefo Platinum 2021/2022
The Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award is an independent seal of approval that recognises outstanding customer service. Feefo collects reviews from purchase-verified clients, meaning they are always authentic, and only businesses meeting their criteria of excellence make the cut every year.
In total, at Ready Steady Store we have received 5,862 reviews, and in 21/22, we have had 1,850 so far. We are also proud to have achieved Feefo’s Platinum Trusted Service Award for two years in a row and hope to qualify again for 2023.
FEDESSA finalists 2021 and 2022
The Federation of European Self Storage Associations (FEDESSA) European Awards are an excellent way of celebrating business achievements. Representing the storage sector as a whole across Europe, their mission is to position the industry as a responsible market.
Last year we were finalists for not one but two nominations at the FEDESSA awards, including Multi-Site Operator of the Year and the Container Storage Facility of the Year.
Although we faced some tough competition this year, we made the shortlist again when our Eastleigh branch was a finalist for Major Operator Store of the Year.

About Self Storage Association UK Ltd
SSA is the leading trade group that represents both self storage operators and industry supplier members’ interests in the United Kingdom. Established in 1995, the association seeks to promote best practices and facilitate the growth of one of the UK’s fastest-growing industries.
Their vision is to set a standard for the sector, encourage self storage and provide a lobbying forum to promote industry interests with statutory bodies. The SSA also closely affiliates with the Federation of European Self Storage Associations (FEDESSA) and currently has over 500 UK members.
Security Sector Forum – our guest speaking slots
At Ready Steady Store, we are a regular speaker at webinars, including the Sector Forum on Security, in association with the SSA. Security is a significant topic when it comes to storage, and we have to ensure we remain fully protected from all potential threats.
Meetings are designed for SSA members only and held online to discuss due diligence and advances in technology. Client security is of the utmost importance to us, so this is an invaluable scheme to raise awareness of the impact and implications of cybercrime.
What’s in store for 2023?
As the year draws to a close, we’re looking ahead to next year where we will continue to deliver excellent customer service. We also aim to invest in our facilities and team and persevere with our green mission. Who knows? If we’re lucky enough, we might be nominated again. Fingers crossed.
