COVID19 Update – Ready Steady Store
Update 24th February 2022
Effective today the Government has ended all coronavirus restrictions in England. Ready Steady Store have followed this and we have also lifted all restrictions.
During lockdown we introduced a new completely no touch move in process for new customers, and of course this will continue to be available. Everything can be done online and the phone, and your unit will be waiting for you when you arrive.
Storage facilities typically have very few people in at a time, however if our staff or customers wish to continue to wear face coverings we will of course support them.

Following the latest Government recommendations and to ensure the well being of our customers and our teams. Ready Steady Store have taken the decision to ask that all customers wear a mask at all times, in all areas of our storage facilities.
We would ask for your co-operation in this.

If you require storage during this time, and wish to minimise any contact, we can help with our Remote Move In service.
It’s very easy:
- Get a quote online and reserve your unit, or call our customer service team on 0800 321 3211.
- Once you have reserved a unit you will be able to check in online, this allows you to set up your account and validate your identity.
- When you have completed the online check in, we will contact you to arrange a convenient time for you to move in, and arrange for your access to the building and to your unit.

Yes, you can still move your goods into storage, and we have updated our processes so that you can complete the entire process without needing to meet face to face with a staff member.
It’s very easy:
Now that you have reserved a unit you will be able to check in online, this allows you to set up your account, and validate your identity using our partner app YOTI (Click here to setup Yoti ).
Once you have completed the online check in, we will contact you to arrange a convenient time for you to move in, and ensure that you have remote access to the building and to your storage unit.
If you are not able or would prefer not to move in at this time, please call us to re-arrange.

Yes our Customer Service team are all working from home and offering their great service on 0800 321 3211.

8am to 8.00pm Monday to Friday
9.00 to 5.30pm Saturdays
10.00 to 4.00pm Sundays
Don’t worry, payments can still be made by Credit/Debit Card or Bank Transfer, online at My Account or by phone on 0800 321 3211.
All payment details are on your invoice.
Yes we are still able to accept deliveries on your behalf. Our staff will observe social distancing when allowing the courier/driver in, and proof of delivery will be photo rather than a signature. We will send an SMS to let you know your delivery has arrived.

Update: 19th July 2021
Following the Government announcement of the easing of lockdown from the 19th of July, Ready Steady Store have taken the decision to move forward with care to ensure the wellbeing of our customers and staff. We will therefore continue to ask our customers to observe social distancing and to wear masks in our stores.

Intensified Cleaning Regime
We will continue with our new cleaning regimes with particular focus on the most commonly touched areas, and to provide cleaning stations in our loading bays.
