How our self storage works
We know how daunting it can be to think about where to store your stuff, whether you’re in the middle of a house or office move, redecorating or decluttering. But finding a secure place to store your things for a long or short-term period doesn’t have to be difficult. We’re here to make storage as easy and flexible as possible, so you can focus on the more important things.

Choose your unit size
You can choose from over 40 different sizes of storage units. Units range from the size of a locker to space the size of a double or triple garage and more. They’re measured by the square foot area of the floor space and each one is at least 8 feet high.

Reserve your storage unit
All it takes is a refundable £10 deposit to reserve a unit size and guarantee your great price. This £10 is credited to your first bill once you start storing so it actually doesn’t cost anything to reserve. Plus, if you reserve and then no longer need our storage then we’ll refund you the £10. It’s that simple.
Complete Speedy Move-In
Use our Speedy Move-In form to make moving into your storage unit even easier. This will save you time when you arrive at our store to move your things into your unit. You can enter your personal information using our online form so that we don’t need to do it when you arrive. You can, of course, arrive in-store during our reception hours without having completed Speedy Move-In.
Pack your items
You’ll need to pack your things to transport them and to make sure that they don’t get damaged.
If you need boxes or materials, we sell a wide range of great value packing materials and cardboard boxes in-store and online in our Box Shop. Perfect to have boxes and bubble wrap delivered to your door before you store!
Transport your things
If you don’t have your own way of getting your things to the store, we can help to arrange affordable transport through our local partners. You can hire a van through our Van Hire partners or use a Van & Man Service to take care of the whole move.
Simply come to the store during our opening hours to set up your storage agreement and you’ll get access to your storage unit right away.
There are plenty of trolleys and lifts, plus there are wide corridors to help make moving your things into your unit as easy as possible.
Once you’ve moved your things in, you then lock your unit with you own padlock so only you have the key. Our extensive security keeps your things safe around the clock and using PIN code access you can access the building and your unit at any time you want, even 24 hours a day if you want to.
If you have more or less things than you first thought, changing your unit size isn’t a problem. You can do this when moving-in or at any time during your time storing with us, so you only pay for the space you need, and it’s free too.
Manage your account using My Account
Manage your storage account on-the-go using our customer portal: My Account. Here you can update your information and pay your bill online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
When it’s time for you to move your things out, all you need to do is give us 14 days notice. If you are a business customer, you will need to give us 28 days notice. You’ll then get a refund any paid days storage that you don’t use*.
